This sentence really inspires me, I think it was talked the situation about civil rights activist in the People's Republic of China, In my opinion, contemporary China civil rights like a door that never be opened, so people do not know the door is can be opened and why they should do it.
這句話讓我印象非常深刻，我認為這句話描繪了人權運動在中國的處境，當代中國人權自由在某種程度上就像一扇不曾開過的門，所以人們不會知道這扇門是可以開的，更不會去想為什麼需要開這扇門。



The country I born is Taiwan, another official name is Republic of China, the first democratic country in Asia, this nation have a very close historical relationship with China that our cognitive now. But actually our country also ever have a dark history like 228 incidents (1947/2/28 Chinese: 二二八事件),period of martial law (1949~1987 Chinese: 戒嚴時期) and White Terror(1949~1992 Chinese: 白色恐怖),At that time, government own absolute power to control people, but nowadays the time proves that what the government did is wrong, every year the president of the Republic of China (Taiwan) have to represent country apologize to national people for what the damage that the government did.
我出生在台灣，另一個官方說法叫做中華民國，亞洲第一個民主國家，這個國家的歷史文化與現在國際認知的中國有著相當微妙緊密的關聯。但事實上我的國家也曾經有過黑暗的歷史如228事件、戒嚴時期、白色恐怖，當時的政府擁有絕對的權力來控制人民，但時至今日時間已經證明當時政府做錯了，每一年中華民國總統都必須代表國家為過去的錯誤向人民道歉。

但是人民必須知道自由得來不易，在1986以前台灣始終只有一個政黨叫做國民黨，這一年是民主台灣相當重要的一年，1986年九月，民進黨籌備委員會在圓山大飯店籌備組黨，軍方向當時的總統蔣經國報告，並且準備逮捕民進黨成員。

從此以後當代台灣不但結束戒嚴時期，同時還產生了台灣史上第二個政黨。

Today, China is not like before, It becomes stronger and wealthy, this country accepts free economic, accept free culture, accept free creative but the only thing they avoid is people's freedom. I believe in the future will appear more people have the desire to open the door and believe that people have right to open the door.
今天的中國以不同以往，變得更強盛富有，這個中國接受自由的經濟，接受自由的文化，接受自由的創意，這個中國唯一拒於門外的只有人民的自由。在未來會有更多人渴望打開這扇門，並且相信人民是有權利去探索門外的自由。
