If you wanna find a way, you must lost it first.

We have already built plenty of ability and personality in the period of our grown up time, these capable of ability achieve what we are, but some times we own a lot and can not accept more, in fact, the reason is that our opinion and belief limited our view and what we can explore.

For create, it is a problem

English conceptual artist Simon Starlin crossed Tabernas desert in Spain on an improvised electric bicycle, he named this journey to Tabernas desert Run 2004, the only waste product the vehicle produced was water, which he used to paint an illustration of a cactus.

It showed a conflict between value of natural resource and the effect of human behavior, I think the creative and whole concept is born in the journey, he tried convey the main idea through the real behavior, real travel, real journey, therefore he can show the sign, the mark, the trace to describe the information that he like to convey to public.

Simon Starling use the product through the journey(waste water from electric bicycle) to created a painting, use a process to made another product, this idea very impress me, seems like the artist make the journey with more physical evidence to support what he wanna talk about and what he really did.

The entire artwork is a process, the most considerable thing in the journey, he did not express the terminal of this trip, it does not mean it is unimportant but the point is the trace of this adventure, route is made by walk not goal, the experience is according what you do not what you get.

The information is the most important element of contemporary and conceptual arts, through the different methods artworks can convey ideas of artist, it is an activity behavior.
Information is a verb, not a noun. Feed of its containers, information is obviously not a thing, In fact, it is something which happens in the field of interaction between minds or objects or other pieces of information. (Barlow, 1996, p. 149)

In my opinion, Simon Starling is get lost himself in the journey of Tabernas Desert Run and find another one in this journey, the new one told us what you get is not be found in destination but be gather in process.
